RoboKiller - Stop Spam Calls App Description

With RoboKiller, answer your phone with confidence once again! Telemarketers and scammers have made it painful to pick up a call, but RoboKiller, winner of the FTC's anti-robocall competition, gives you your phone back. The New York Times, NBC, Wired, Engadget, Vice and others, are all raving about RoboKiller’s power to block over 100,000 spam calls and its uncanny ability to show you exactly who is calling you before your answer. RoboKiller reduces unwanted calls by up to 90% in 30 days! RoboKiller is available with both monthly and yearly subscriptions, both with a free 7-day trial; opt-out at any time during the trial and you aren’t charged a penny. (See for pricing.) RoboKiller also takes the hassle out of getting the calls you DO want, with true, real-time caller ID so you can stop guessing who’s at the other end of your calls. RoboKiller’s caller ID turns phone numbers into names, addresses and even photos of the people calling you. No more annoying cutting and pasting, trying to figure out who’s on the phone after the call is already over. *** RoboKiller works on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Cricket and MetroPCS. RoboKiller is NOT currently supported by US Cellular. *** KEY BENEFITS: - Automatically blocks spam and robocallers with patented FTC-award winning technology. - Spam list automatically updates automatically, making sure you always have the most up-to-date protection. - Take control! Bad number got through? Block it! Good number got blocked? Allow it! - Identifies missed calls with Caller ID - including names, addresses and even photos (where available). - See missed and blocked calls in your Recents - you can even listen in to hear why blocked callers were calling. - Dedicated customer service team with real humans, 7 days a week. In-App Purchases: RoboKiller is a free download, with a free trial period to use the app completely risk-free, before purchasing the service. If you purchase the service, you will be charged a monthly price according to your country. The price will always be shown in the app before you complete a purchase. Your RoboKiller subscription automatically renews at the end of every billing period (as determined by your purchase of monthly or yearly service) and your iTunes account will automatically be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. Terms of Service: Privacy Policy:

this is blocking some spam but also blocking local business and callers - which is frustrating
  • I deleted it

It was keeping me from getting important calls. Would not allow "good" calls to go to my voice mail. Friends would say they were not able to leave a voice mail, rather, it would just ring and ring.
  • My favorite app of all time!

    By Actsophia
Seriously, nothing provides more pleasure - not games, not productivity apps for work, not entertainment - music or sports apps - this is my #1 favorite app of all time, both for fighting unsolicited marketers and saving me the pain, but also for the hilarious, “laugh from the gut uncontrollably” moments it provides thanks to the genius of the answer bots. You guys rock! Easily worth the $20/year, highly recommend everyone use this and we collectively put a stop to mass marketers by growing Robokillers database together!
  • It works!

I used to get the same calls all the time. No more, a great investment.
  • This is not a free app - it costs a monthly fee to use

    By Joe6134
This app is not free - it looks like it’s a “free” download, but it immediately tries to sign you up for their monthly plan. They do not tell you this and Apple should probably start looking at this stuff and putting it into the paid app category.
  • App Keeps Crashing

    By zep025
I’ve yet to be able to use the app. After I set it all up the app freezes on the home page.
  • Install Failure

ORIGINAL: Installed on my 6S. Selected $2.99/month option. App opens to a blank screen. Answer Bots button is grayed out and not available. Settings button grayed out and not available. No Customer service option available Edit#1: Downloaded the newest update and was again disappointed. Home screen is still a blank screen. None of the buttons are responsive. (Recents,Block, AnswerBots,Settings). Really wanted this to work for me. 6S, iOS 11.2.6 on Verizon. EDIT#2: OK! Removed the app and reinstalled it for the 4th time and it’s functional! Looking forward to some hilarious voicemail and an end to the daily spoofing calls!
  • Don’t try to get support.

    By Alkhn
Worked great for several months then the screen locked up. Deleted the app and then downloaded it again. Made no difference. Forwarded the problem to support as directed. Got a form response saying I would be contacted. It never happened.
  • Blocked 1 spam call and many new client calls!

    By Luceagain
Yuck, not for me as a private practice psychologist! Plus, my phone and messages felt glitchy and it messed up my voice sync in my car. Grrrr! Update in response to developer: I can only report my experience that when I deleted your app, my phone began working seamlessly again in the car. My messages twitched and shook on my iPhone 8. The interface was crowded and far from intuitive. My issue with the call blocking with had nothing to do with my being a psychologist, but everything to do with being in private practice where potential clients call me for appointments. Your robo killer designation showed up on calls from clients, who are not spam and how I make my living. Yes, I didn’t get spam calls, but I also felt like I gave up a lot of control to this app. Thanks, anyway, I’m happier with the occasional annoying call.
