    I’m in the first week of the workout and wholly cow! Let me start by saying I was already in good shape, particularly aerobic wise. I downloaded the app to see if I could use it in place of my expensive gym membership. I also wanted to tone up a bit more. This app puts me through my paces! I love how flexible it is and how the workouts are only 28 minutes each. I’m a busy teacher and mom of six-year-old twins so it needs to work around my life. I can fit in a 28-minute workout in the morning or after they’re in bed. After only a week, I’m feeling more toned already. I’m not following the eating plan because I already track macros and calories. So far, I love it! I can’t wait to see my progress pics in three weeks.

    64 weeks ago I had never set foot in a gym, let alone consistently worked out. Now, I go 4-5 mornings a week armed with my Sweat app and cannot thank Kayla enough. The app breaks down Work put routines to manageable 30 minute chunks that anyone can fit into their day and really empowers people that may not know where to start. When I started, I couldn’t do a single push-up or sit-up, and now I’m racing to fit four cycles into the time limits. The app has made me feel strong in so many ways, and the only thing I’m worried about is that I run out of workouts in 8 weeks. TLDR; Workout app is great for all fitness levels and lifestyles.

    The program is great and I’m in the shape of my life! However, please stop the app from resetting when you switch from week to week. It is so annoying when I have a busy week and can’t keep track of what I have completed! I hate the auto erase every Monday and if I just want to browse back or forward. This should be an easy change! Thanks for listening!

    I feel so strong after finishing a BBG beginner workout. Perfect way to slowly ease yourself back into working out. The food plans helped me tremendously, too!

    For the “free” trial you have to sign up for a $20 per month subscription which is nearly impossible to cancel. Really an incredible waste of time. The app is just ok. Not much more than many free apps out there. Skip the hassle.

    Love love love this app!!! Workouts are awesome and clearly written and demonstrated perfectly! My only (tiny!) suggestion would be to add the ability to hold your finger on an activity and drag it to a different day. (For example if I wanted to move my rest day from Saturday to Sunday, instead of having to add and delete, just being able to simply click and drag)

    Overall, I think this is a great app and I love the sweat program. My only issue is that the screen often freezes which requires me to force close the app and lose my spot in my workout. It would be great if the technical team could fix this issue.

    This app can be used by anyone, from the avid gym goer to the person who is barely motivated to get out of bed. The exercises show an avatar of Kayla (or Kelsey) demonstrating each move, which is helpful. There are 4 modes: original Bikini Body Guide for anywhere exercises, BBG Stronger for gym goers, PWR for gym goers taking it to the next level, body and mind for yoga, and Post Pregnancy. If you have an Apple Watch, it works great together! I have met my exercise goal and move goal almost every day this month! It appears that every program starts the user out gentle, with simple cardio and exercises. I looked ahead of the program and it gets pretty crazy towards the end but there is an option to dial it back or forward. The meal program is extensive. I will be honest: this app appears to expect you to cook every meal every day. Not good for the meal prep schedule but I just pick a few for the week and use it as inspiration. With that said, the variety of food won’t make you hate yourself for dieting! There is a chat section too. Sweat participates in the chats. I had a question about the policy and rather than having to email or call, I asked in the forum and they answered! Pretty neat! Let’s talk about price: $240.00 appears steep. Even the promo discount of $120.00. Let’s look at the value though. A physical therapist is your copay if you have insurance. A personal trainer can range as little as $30 per session and up. If you average the amount of times you would have to pay for either you have already paid for the app. The cost motivates me to continue to use it as well. Personal note: 2 years ago, I suffered an injury to my right leg where I had no mobility for weeks. I have spent two years working with physical therapists trying to get it back. I also had to see a chiropractor because of the pain the limp was causing my back. I began the Stronger program and the parts of my leg that were numb and immobile are now twitching. They are sore after leg day. My back hurts less. I peeked at the post pregnancy program and almost all of the exercises were the same as my physical therapist’s. I wish I had started this app sooner, saved money and time. Whether I lose weight or not (which I have!), I have gained so much more confidence and done more for my overall health using this app.

    Personally I like to do my walking workout through my Apple Watch exercise app just to be sure it counts my exercise minutes cause if I use the sweat app it doesn’t always go toward that. Plus when I do so sometimes I forget to track it in the sweat app and then there is no way for me to add it to the previous day. This needs to be changed cause otherwise I never finish my entire week.
