LogDog – Mobile Security App Description

Think you're too boring to be targeted by cyber-criminals? Think Again! Your private information: private pictures and messages, credit card and financial and even medical records are vulnerable to hacker attacks. You need proper protection. Protect your online accounts - your Gmail, Facebook and more and prevent identity theft. Protect your device from hacking. Scan for data that may have been stolen from you online. 1 in 4 accounts are hacked, don't let the next be yours! "... You'll know right away of any abnormal account activity, and it's a snap to change a compromised password ..." PCmag ***Over 1,800,000 installs*** Secure your online personal information. Be alerted when any suspicious activity occurs, and prevent intrusion - Anytime. Anywhere. LogDog’s unique cyber technology will learn your online activity patterns and create your own personalized cyber profile. Adding safe locations like “Home” and “Work” will upgrade your security level and allow a higher level of detection accuracy. ***How does it work? *** LogDog continuously scans and monitors your accounts’ login location and times, number of messages and various other parameters. If our IDS detect anything unusual, such as an attempted identity theft or an intrusion into your private account, it immediately alerts you so you can prevent or stop the hack. LogDog also scan your device for indication of breach or hacking and scan online databases for information that might have been stolen from you. *** Get alerts for any suspicious online activity in your accounts*** LogDog sends you an immediate security alert when any suspicious activity is detected in your accounts. LogDog has recently added more security measures meant to protect your accounts by constantly scanning breached accounts lists, which appear in black market servers. *** Identify Fraud Filters and Missing Recovery Data *** LogDog will scan your online accounts for changes in recovery data and forwarding filters. Hackers often manipulate these settings in order to funnel your email to themselves and take over your accounts. Example: when planning to breach a victim’s bank account using website or app, hackers will often first add a forwarding rule to the victim’s email account. This will allow the hackers to intercept queries and email alerts from the bank and approve transfers and password changes. Monitoring these forwarding rules is therefore extremely important. LogDog will take care of this for you. Pricing: - Monthly or yearly auto renewable subscription - The subscriptions are auto-renewable. - Cancel at any time - Term of use: https://getlogdog.com/terms/ - Privacy: https://getlogdog.com/privacy/ – Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase – Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period – Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal – Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase The LogDog app samples GPS information on your device in order to protect your accounts. Continued use of the GPS (running in the background) can dramatically decrease battery life. We have taken steps to minimize GPS use and the impact on battery life. We run multiple tests to ensure that the LogDog app's impact on battery life is minimal and will continue to do so in all future versions. Don’t Get Hacked – Get a LogDog!

I’m not writing another review. They have had three reviews sent in different directions. I think your app is a waste of time and money. It only messes up your passwords and crosses and links to your email accounts even though you may wish for privacy. I have no doubt in a year all my emails can be found on one database. I’m single so divorce will not cross my mind.when will google and FB realise that they are screwing up people’s personal and private lives with their meddling apps. It’s rather cruel actually. A person I know was given the address (FYI purposes only) of the man who violated her 12 years before after his release from prison. FB messenger added him to her FB account with only his address and with no permission. You may scan but you do not for example scan for malware on messenger. You send alarming popups which make your service lack credibility like everything else in America now preying in peoples fears to make money. Very sad. I was in EU for ten years and I am reminded what louder sports we have become. All the adds on tv are about pills geared at people that may hardly need it. They don’t advertise truvada which helps prevent hiv, that would be too tasteless for our fine upstanding moral values, but we’ll get every housewife petrified that if she doesn’t spray poison into the air she and her healthy, master race kids will get very sick. And terrifying elderly people about falling when they are at greater rust to get scammed on the phone. I’m sorry to go on at you, perhaps no one is even reading it, and perhaps if they are they aren’t even in this country. That wasn’t a prejudice against other people’s, only that why can’t we get people in this country to work? This app is just another symptom of what’s wrong. Greed and very little to show for it. Except the owners of the company Corp. No, I didn’t care for your app and I have an 11 year old goldfish who could survey my iPhone with more aptitude. Whomever is reading this, it’s not directed at you! Peace and best wishes. You already know my name and emails. X

The best security ever Get This App!
  • Not bad, just not helpful to me.

    By CaryJoeBob
Not a bad app but wasn’t too helpful for me. It told me that my Facebook account “was accessed by an iPhone, was this you?” Doesn’t id the phone, could have been my iPad or a family member - no way of knowing. It can monitor your email if you have gmail ... I don’t.
  • Hacked

    By doriboo92
As soon as I downloaded his so called safe app, my email was hacked and then a couple of days later my card number was stolen. I had not had any problems with either of them until I downloaded this app. DO NOT GET THIS APP!
  • After installing

    By tgigauwi
I’ve had my new phone for about a week now. It hasn’t had any problems until after I installed this app. I was talking to a Karen from this app about how I wanted too not use it. Because I didn’t want to pay for it. Then I got a alert saying someone near Phoenix Arizona tried to log into my account. Personally I think it was a scare tactic by them. To encourage me to subscribe. Or I could just be being paranoid.
  • I can’t download it!!!

I have new iPads and iPhone and it is grayed out and won’t let me download !!!!! Plz help me
  • iPhone 6, Keeps Deactivating it’s self. Customer/technical support

    By Pouty & Perturbed
I’ve requested a refund and was referred to the app, which doesn’t have that option. - LogDog, send a message “LogDog deactivated for 24 hours.” Submitting a trouble ticket is like playing the lottery, ZenDesk responses do not address the issues nor do the understand the problem. - Sent in a suggestion and mentioned a hacking incident the happened 8mo ago. Response off topic, referencing 8mo old incident, and totally ignored my suggest/recommendation.
  • Fake free app.

    By bobilyheadedcat
This app is not free. No matter how you use it, it will cost you money then they make it almost impossible to cancel. Worth zero stars.
