  • Buy the book, it's great!

The only thing this does well enough is enable map routing. It is a 99 cent app.

I purchased this app because I want to support TAS, which is a wonderful organization, even though as apps go, it is not inexpensive. The guide doesn't claim to be a substitute for 'Finding Birds in Southeast Arizona' nor at this point should it, as listings are incomplete (no Box Canyon or Las Laguna de Anza in the Nogales region, for instance, at least as far as I could tell - next time i will bring my book. This app has the potential to be very good though. At least I think so. In addition to fleshing out locations, perhaps it could be made to link to 'Rare Bird Alerts' and other useful information. On the plus side, it is easy to use and very intuitive. I will certainly look forward to improvements.
  • Great for" winter-birder" Birders

This is a great little app for us "winter-birder" Birders, and well worth the money. We spend a substantial amount of time in Arizona and it's convenient to have an app that locates the best birding spots in S. Arizona. I especially like how to app breaks-down S. Arizona into six birding regions....along with locations, details, and driving routes for each. Having the "nearby" function for restaurants and gas is an added benefit. I'm looking forward to their updates to see additional functions and locations they may include. Bill B. Wisconsin
