App Reviews

  • the app you will need and use, worth its price

    By Roccitymed
explore and learn anatomy with the new updates you can learn a lot more compared to traditional paper atlas. New features and built in AR feature for new iPad brings it all to life. THe motion and the look of the muscles and structures makes it easier to learn and study from. This app continues to get better and better with each update, they understand the need to continue to improve and add to the application as the technology gets even better.
  • Incredible Adjunct for Educators

I am a faculty educator in medicine, teaching to all levels of medical learners. I find this app to be helpful to me as describe relationships, and to my learners trying to facilitate understanding of the body.
  • Great app, needs to be better optimized though.

5 starts for sure, absolutely worth it as a PT student. Needs to be better optimized though. My fan on my spec’d out 2016 macbook pro kicks up hard when watching the lectures.

  • Physical Therapists

This is a great app for for all physical therapists who perform dry needling and other manual therapy interventions, such as spinal manipulation. It’s excellent for patient education, as well. I use it daily in the clinic and have the app on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro. I definetly recommend it to anyone in the healthcare field.
  • I love this app but Im pretty sure my Mac overheats everytime i use it

This app is probably one of the most useful learning tools i’ve come across in a long time. If not the most helpful. Dispite this, I subtract one star beause i cannot use it for long before I have to close it out to give my lap top a break. Just to create insight, I have the lastest MacBook Pro 2017, with the touch bar and all. I purcahsed a whole new computer due to thinking my older one (MacBook 2012 was overheating. Now i realize the common denominator was utlizing Complete Anatomy. Can the developers get with Apple and figure this out? Overall, this app is worth it. But I fear damaging my computer if i have it open too long. I do not get the fans going using any other program.
  • Buyer Beware!

    By Complete-scam
I purchased this app and subsequently took an offer to buy the iOS version at a slight discount. Fast forward a few months and that iOS version no longer works on my iPhone and only only on my ipad - and they want MORE money to make it work on my iPhone again. These guys will bait and switch what you paid for with what you end up getting - and then nickel and dime you every step of the way. Want features in the expensive app you paid for? Pay more money. Want to use that feature that worked last week? Gotta pay more to get it back. The app is good, but these guys are extremely hostile to their users. I cannot recommend doing business with them.

  • Worth the Investment

This app has been a life saver. I’ve been getting 100% or nearly 100% on my biology (anatomy and physiology courses) exams at my university. If you take the time to use this tool and study it efficiently, you will excel greatly in your classes.
  • So frustrating to actually use

    By Missing news
This is one of those apps that looks amazing when you open it but using it as a reference tool is about as dissapointing as it gets. Maybe I’m just too slow to get it but it just doesn’t work as a functional educational tool. Take, for example, tonight I wanted to visualze the location of the parieto-occipital sulcus, so I type it into the search bar and it shows me the scull… Ok so I remove the skull and I’m left with half the brain and I’m flinging it around looking for the little green bit… Why is it so silly? Just show me what I typed into the search bar! I know the ability to add layers seems like it’d be nice but it STINKS. You go from the Aorta to a million capillary beds in two clicks… Remember that thing I said about following blood flow? Yea, it’s impossible unless you like clicking “hide” about 10,000 times. Honestly, I wrote a review about this app 6 months ago because it crashed constantly. I paid $50 for this and have tried to use it as a reference tool about a dozen times since. While it no longer crashes (hence 3 stars intead of 1), it’s still more just a pretty party trick than an educational/usefull tool. They should consider asking some medical students how to make something that people would want to use and not get frustrated with every time they open it. The essentials are there - now you just have to make it useful! Tl;dr - If you’re in medical school, don’t waste your money on this app - you won’t use it because it doesn’t actually work for your needs.
