App Reviews

  • Like the idea but no additional benefit

    By SarahF82
I love the idea of the app, however I don’t get reminders fir any saved events! This makes the app not useful for me but just a separation of events section without any additional benefit.
  • Horrible calendar integration.

    By Squareman
So FB wants to read from my calendar but not write to it? No FB, I’m not going to use YOUR app to manage or read my other calendars. I want you to write events that I’ve accepted or said “maybe” to my calendar app. I have no intention of ever opening this app EXCEPT to manage FB events. But it’s pointless when I can do that from the FB app itself. Other apps can write to my iOS calendar. I don’t know why FB won’t except for as a big middle finger to Apple and its users. Well, right back at you FB.
  • Useful for event discovery

    By Dapaintballer331
I find this app extremely useful for discovering local events and concerts. Not sure what it has that the main app doesn't, but I like the no distraction interface
  • An events app that can’t add to calendar?!

    By Sintactic
Doesn’t give me any way to add an event I sign up for to my calendar, so I have to enter the information manually myself. You’ve got to be kidding me.
  • Too much inaccurate info

    By Starbucks Mouse
I opened this up and found more than half of the listings to be places out of business. There was was no way of reporting this. I’m guessing they just pull business info from Facebook pages that haven’t been updated in YEARS! It renders this app totally useless. It’s a definite delete!
  • Hot garbage

    By Darcy3466
This app is like yelp circa 2008. In other words, it gives you whatever it feels like. A quick restaurant search showed like 30 that were closed and several places that aren't even restaurants. It looks like it's fed off of old google searches.
  • Great App, Though It Has A Flaw

    By Wsamson95035
I am glad that Facebook recommended that I download the local app. It is very useful. Though it does have a flaw. Some of the places that it is listed and are suggested have gone out of business. Certainly an update is needed to correct it and remove it from the app. Other than that, it is a great app.
  • Great idea, wrong information given to customers

    By Myers570
This app is a great idea especially for small businesses to get exposure in their areas. Although, one of the businesses I support shows a 1.3 star rating, although on their Facebook page it’s a 5 star rated establishment by their customers. This can deter people from going to the business and can cause a lot of confusion.
  • Does not delete locations that have been out of business for years

    By Silverdrmd
I probably would have use this app if I hadn’t seen so many locations that have been out of business for years. It tells you that it’s going to be open at 10 o’clock today when it was closed a decade ago. They should be more accurate in their local locations one or two weeks would be forgiving but not restaurants or been closed for years
  • Filters

    By Angel Nunez-Garcia
Give us the ability to filter events by price: Free, Pay per Visit, And ranges in Payment $5-$20, etc.
