    - Sssssso many ads. One episode of a 40-minute tv show (not live cable tv show) has at least 10-minute ads. Come on, I’m already paying 40 bucks a months - sometimes ads get stuck and I have to close and reopen the app, which makes me watch the ads again but not start watching the show even though I’ve watched the ads already - Youtuve tv server was down when I was watching World Cup semi final. - going to quit YouTube tv

  • Nearly unusable

This review is for the app as installed on and run from an Apple TV 4K While watching live or recorded TV constant slowdowns and pixelation make video unwatchable. I though my network was broken but no other apps running on both my Apple TVs have this problem. Went out and bought a chromecast, works great with that. Maybe Google wants it to run bad on Apple products on purpose!?! I confirmed with two other friends running YTTV app from their Apple TV. Same problems.

I’ve used them all and now I’m back at YouTube tv. Most reliable stream and best dvr. Only negative is it doesn’t work on firestick. They need to resolve that issue

  • I want to Favorite channels please. Also, needs stronger On Demand Library.

    By UltraLucha
I want to favorite channels to make things easier to find. Also I need more out of the on demand section. Hulu has new anime and classics. I needs some on demand options. Like the full season on Krypton and Legends of Tomorrow.
  • Cannot cast this app to Samsung TV

    By Srikanth4572
Tried watching couple of videos and after some time found some delay in video and audio synchronization. Assuming live TV impact on the app. YouTube app videos can be casted directly on Samsung TV, but from this app cannot cast it to bigger screen. Limitation or bug ??
  • Issues with Sports

    By doddphd
One of the big draws for YouTube TV is it’s great selection of sports channels. I was paying Charter/Spectrum $122 a month to be able to watch and record these channels. Unlimited recording is also good. Here are my issues. Every sport will occasionally display team standings or an individual’s stats and so you pause to take a look. iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV apps all dim the screen and then place control icons across the image making it impossible to view. That’s simply poor design. It lacks slow motion. This is really important to a lot of sports fans and would be a great feature to implement. Other stuff: It is oddly slow reaching HD when you start watching a show that is currently being recorded. Commercials: If the show you “recorded” is streamed from a network, you can’t fast forward through the commercials. If it’s streamed from Google, you can jump 15 seconds at a time. You often can’t tell what advertiser is supporting your show and weather you might actually be interested. It would be nice if google could work with the networks to produce a standard like YouTube, where you can skip forward after seeing a few seconds of a commercial.
