  • Beware

    By Respectfully
Owned this app once before. Yet after paying good money($29.99) the developer decided to create a new app. Thirty dollars wasted. Could this happen to you?? Time will tell.
  • No scale reference when downloading

    By rus_sel
Why wouldn’t you put any info as to the scale and area being selected when downloading maps? Seems like such a basic feature that your competition has, making it difficult to download maps..and I just forked over for premium before realizing this. Ugh
  • Replaced my GPS

    By oscar057
I have used Gaia for several years on backpacking trips. I find it more versatile and easier to use than my GPS.
  • Not a fan

Bailed on us that used the old app, not updating something I paid $20 for! Untrustworthy.
  • Disappointed

    By poodletale
I had hoped to travel in my RV and find hikes along the way. Instead, I’d arrive at a destination , check the app and simply see an arrow pointing to where I was. For the life of me, I cannot figure what makes this app worth $20!!!
  • Awesome application

    By S1lv3rback
I use this app for everything, from work to my mountain hiking trips to seeing where I stand in flood locations during storms. This app is perfect for hikers, preppers, campers and many fields of work.
  • Overall good but has issues

    By Chad0688
Issues with this app: - I have routes saved but some aren't showing up when I zoom in. They'll show zoomed out but to a certain point some just disappear - when making some routes, the locking will sometimes decide to go way out of the way off where I'm trying to go. Like I'll try going a mile from a way point and it'll end up taking a route that backtracks and goes miles around rather than straight ahead. Idk what the deal is but it's annoying
  • Extraordinary

Great for hunting and fishing In the backcountry without cell service. Highly recommended.
  • Very Simple Very Accurate

    By Sparky of SoCal
No matter the outdoor activities this mapping app makes researching and finding the location once you hit the road or trail easy and less stressful. If you’re into documenting your trips this is also top notch. Using this mostly nowhere near the internet the tools available to use off line are great. I think another thing not talked about much is the simplicity to import data from other sources.
  • Best app!

    By Monkeyboy031
This app allows me to download a multitude of maps specific to the area I’m working with no cell service. Tracking and then reviewing the altitude, speed, etc is very helpful. Also being able to send your track log to a SAR coordinator is also amazing. Very cool app!
