    The app constantly crashes, so very annoying. I'll try it one more month. If they don't address these issues will cxl my subscription
  • Never got to watch anything! Don’t bother

    This app doesn’t allow for subscribers through the App Store, Roku, Amazon, ApplePay. I downloaded, for a “free week” that I never got, subscribed right there through the App Store, and NOTHING happened. I tried to log on through iPhone app, iPad, laptop, iMac desktop, and through Roku even. Called Customer Service, who told me they know they have a problem, and offered me an incentive to cancel my subscription through Apple and subscribe directly through them. The week passed with various phone calls and emails, and I never got to use it once. There is no free anything. You sign up for the subscription to get the free week, and they dawdle until the free week is over. They don’t give you back that time they waste. Cancelled.

  • Major functionality issues

    I have this app on Roku and on AppleTV and it simply does not work on AppleTV. Months ago I was just irritated it didn't bookmark and show episodes were out of order, but since updates have literally made it nonfunctional. Every time I click on a show it asks me to subscribe. I am signed into my account. I've checked and I am signed into my account. Trying to exit out of the subscribe page also does nothing. So at this point the app does not allow me to watch anything. It's ridiculous.

    Frequent crashes. When I stopped watching and tried to return, it didn’t go back to where I left off— it didn’t even go back to the episode I was watching! Eager to watch some of these shows but this is a pain
  • Nothing works right and the developer doesn’t care

    Great library, but the app is terribly programmed. Every feature is spotty: the CC doesn’t work most of the time. Go back 15s, fine, do it again, CRASH! Developer doesn’t seem to update the app.

    Huge fan of British shows but the app is maddening. There's bugs in searching and sometimes it just crashes. As much as I'd love to see the shows I'll most likely cancel the monthly subscription and try again in a future date hoping the bugs are figured out.
  • It's acceptable, but could use improvement

    I'm glad to have signed up for Britbox, but it's really lacking in some features and I'm starting to reconsider subscribing. The search feature is pretty limited considering how many options it offers. I would really like there to be a Watch Again or Continue Watching feature that actually shows you the shows you are watching rather than just those episodes you haven't finished. It has a lot of potential...

    I downloaded the app but didn’t even bother with starting the trial. No Broadchurch, no Mighty Bosh, no Luther, no Peep Show, no Saxondale, NO ALAN PARTRIDGE! Are you kidding me with the last one? One of the most iconic characters in all of British television and none of the series are on? I won’t write BritBox off yet, but it has some work to do.
