Time 2: Beat Procrastination App Description

Have you ever procrastinated so much that you had to cram all your work at the last minute? Time 2 will help you beat procrastination and become a stress free productivity pro! Calendars are great for organizing your work. But what happens when you’re actually working on something? It’s easy to get distracted and start wasting time. All of a sudden, what was supposed to be a 1 hour task turns into a 3 hour task, and you’re behind and stressed! Here’s how Time 2 works: Add a task and an amount of time you want to spend on it. Your job is to beat the clock and get your task done before the timer runs out. If you get distracted, you risk the timer running out and going into overtime! Features: • A self-motivated way to beat distractions and procrastination. • Replaces your calendar: you can schedule tasks for future days. • Add reminders and set tasks to repeat, just like a to-do list. • Create as many tasks as you want, no limits. • If you leave the app while a task is running, it will send you a notification reminding you to stay focused. • Finish all your tasks to fill up the daily progress meter. • Try to fill up the progress meter every day, don’t fall short! You deserve not to feel overwhelmed by your work. Reducing your stress and getting all your work done ahead of time is easy with Time 2. Download today!

Very well designed and easy to use. I use it to do my homework and when I get distracted using my phone it tells me that I should go back to work! Very cool!

Please implement features to allow us to review our work statistics, time spent working on which tag/task etc over a day, week etc. Allow this time to be synced to Apple health Mindfulness minutes that would be awesome. Also you should consider implementing a reward system of some sort for certain time increments. Gamification / badges would be sweet. Thank you for listening and for your hard work.

I got bored one day so I read HT's newsletter and found out about the app! THIS WILL SAVE MY PRECIOUS GRADES!

I’ve been using time for a while now and it seriously has helped me better complete my tasks. For me it acts essentially as a glorified task list. However, it has so much potential. Li would enjoy being able to review my previous days to see how long I worked, at what times, and how much I went over my allotted time.
  • Really Good

The only thing it’s missing is an iPad app.
  • Still beta

Has promise but lots of functional issues; drag / reorder crashes app, touching a completed task un1completes it, daily recurring tasks disappear from the future when you delete them from ‘today’-clearly there should be two records in the db or an option akin to gCal (delete this event or all future events) type of functionality. To be a serious daily productivity app, for me, these have to be tackled.
  • Apple Watch support

The nature of this app desperately calls for an Apple Watch companion app. I hope it’s in the roadmap.
