App Reviews

  • Cancelling subscription immediately

    By Rmont8364
I downloaded this app for a specific podcast's archives. Now a lot of the archived episodes are no longer available. I choose an episode that I'm interested in and it's not even the episode listed. Waste of time, waste of money. Worthless to me, so why pay?
  • Doesn’t have the full archives of shows they claim to have

    By Mad_dog9
Subscribed premium so I could listen to full archives of a specific show. They advertise that you can listen to the full archives of this show with premium. They DON’T have full archives of the show. “We’re sorry, this episode is no longer available from the content provider” is the error message for every episode I click on. Not even sure how I can get my money back.
  • Poor Contrast in a Poor UI

    By Tedzzzz
Tried using this for a couple of podcasts, but if the podcast’s picture is mostly white, all the controls are difficult if not impossible to see against it. Other controls on the app or so poorly contrasted with the background, that I didn’t even notice them the first few times I use the app. I’ll be going back to my other podcast app that has excellent accessibility support.
  • The Last Update didn’t work.

    By Bambusa20
I can’t find older episodes of podcast (The Read to be exact).
  • Just a review of 8.1.11

    By Kymmz
I love this app but this is just to let the developers know that since the new update a week ago, the “play next“ feature no longer works. I have a long list of podcasts that I want to play, but what happens is whatever is playing finishes, and then nothing follows on after it. The play next list is still there, but I cannot access it, I have to go to a new podcast and tap to start it, and then all my play nexts are there in plain sight, but it doesn’t matter, because none of them are going to play next. Please fix, and I’ll change this review.
  • Won’t play continuously

    By JoolsTAG1
It randomly will or won’t play continuously, yes, I have it set to do so. Even deleted and reloaded it and changed settings back and forth. Just plays one of my favorites then stops. (I say randomly because this is a years’ long issue, on various devices, I’ve used this app since 2008 and sometimes go to other apps when this one irritates me too much, but this is my favorite one, please fix this :/)
  • Has best options for viewing, but missing a lot of shows

    By cdavida
I like a lot about how this app works. I like being able to go through my shows, pick the episodes, and have them appear in a list of saved episodes. I can sync between my devices so that I don’t have to add them to multiple devices manually. I can even save stuff I have already listened to in an archive. The “My Front Page” is a useless mess, but the app gives me the option to start with my Favorites so that I don’t have to see it if I don’t want to. Oh, and I can add it to Sonos and play through Sonos. This app loses two stars, and maybe should lose more, for one reason. It’s missing several of the shows that I want in its directory, and there’s no way to add a feed URL that I can find. If they don’t have it in their database, I can’t add it. This means that I have to have another app just to hear some of the shows that they do not carry. It’s not just one or two missing, it’s several . . . Bioethics on Air, The Jennifer Fulwiler Show, Catholic Answers Focus, The Catholic Cafe, The Doctor is In (Ray Guerendi), and Stephen Herreid. With that many shows not available, it makes the app a whole lot less useful for me.
  • Horrible interface

    By DashQuark
CarPlay skips to the next track, it only plays one cast in a row, it does not download until you press play, there is no sorting and the played items are all jumbled.
  • Taping twice to save an episode is a pain.

    By lxrchtt
    ^^ see subject.
  • Better than Apple Podcasts

I’d like to be able to turn off suggestions. About 1 in 10 is something I actually want to listen to. There are some playback issues sometimes, where a podcast I’ve already finished will start again at a place I’d previously left it, even if I’ve finished it since I left it.
