  • Used to be good

    By Apes1357
I have used this for 6 years or more. Lately the runs are not being tracked or the time/distance is waaay off. Used to be great! I am going to have to look somewhere else for my running and walking tracking and training app.
  • Nearly perfect but latest update has issues

    By Bonnelea
I have been a RK user for two years. This app has helped motivate me in so many ways - it makes me want to run -- plus the data is awesome. The monthly challenges are good and fun, tho I wish there were more. I like the splits, and the ease of use. I like that I can set goals and choose my own preferences based on my needs. I wish it had data like RunMeter. While RK does automatically calculate splits time, it doesn't help me determine my pace the way I want it. I also wish I could search a database of maps when I am working out of town, like MapMyRun has. Making maps of my route isn't as simple as MApmyRun. My biggest disappointment came when I spent a good bit of money for the full version - I decided to purchase the annual subscription a month or so ago but I do not really see significant differences. The only really big addition is the ability to enable Live Tracking. I live in a rural area As of 11.19.17 the app consistently crashes when I try to view Community or Friends. In addition, the Training portion does not allow me to view any history for the current month. I used to be able to complete a run, then later select that run as the one I wanted to complete a day on my training plan. Now I cannot do that, even though the distance i completed is greater than the required distance for that day’s run. I also wish it were possible to change a workout from completed to Not Completed in order to apply a day’s activity to another day on the training plan but that is also not possible, and never has been. I like the ASICS training plan and find it close to what my coach assigns. I like being able to hear the prompts and see days I have made progress. Just wish I could mark something completed as described above.
  • Love it.

I only use the free version (which is plenty for me). I use it every time I run. Love the interface and how consistent it is. I also tried out their training challenge and it was awesome!

  • LOVE! Crashes occasionally

    By Bouncy_Mouse_59
I’ve used this app for about two years now and I absolutely love it. I recommend it to everyone. I initially used it for fun, then to train for a half marathon, and now to train for a full marathon. However, I’ve noticed a bug in the app where it won’t let you save a run when it’s complete. It doesn’t happen every time - just sometimes. For example, I’ve had to delete my last two runs (they wouldn’t save and the app just closes, though the details open up again when I reopen the app), and then I had to enter the details manually (which I don’t like because I never get to see my splits ☹️). But the three runs before that were fine and saved on their own. Not sure why this happens, but I will joyfully raise my rating back to five stars if you fix it!
  • Not Too Shabby and It’s Free

Only using the free version but it meets my needs. I do kind of rambling routes with the stroller so our kid can see different sights and it’s nice to know my mileage along the way.
  • Great for a new runner

    Helps motivate!
  • Difficult to find the important controls.

    By i-Dallas
Too much information and almost impossible to find the controls I need. Wanted to program it to alert me to run 3 minutes, then steady for 1 minute, then rum 3, steady for 1. Can’t find the controls to do this even though I know they are here....somewhere. The voice prompts do not work on the iwatch, they can only be heard through the iPhone. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but now, the 3 in 1 custom selection is no longer present.... very frustrating.
  • Great running app

Uses your playlist. Great stat coverage. I use the 'Mademoiselle' voice to keep me company on the long runs.
