App Reviews

  • So. Many. Ads

    By AdmiralDyre
At this rate I may end up using an adblocker solely for this site because you get around 4-7 ads 10 - 30 seconds long three times per episode, it’s ridiculous and I can’t seem to watch any show where I can’t take a one hour nap at the beginning of the ads, Only to wake up and find myself only half way through them. Amazing availability regarding shows and other anime’s though!
  • Ads

I got 6 ads in a row with some where I can’t skip them. I can understand a ad here and there but there to many to enjoy you app
  • Ad over load

    By Misha cook
So trying to skip the song to get to actually anime....big mistakes you’re throwing as after ad at me while all I want to do is watch one (possible 10 min) long ad and get on with my anime!!!!
  • To much adds

    By natyalie
I get it you guys need money but chill out with those adds I swear I get more adds the anime and after I come back from the hour long adds the anime’s audio is messed up either it having no volume at all or the audio is there but it freezes so thank you Crunchyroll for such a fantastic anime network and I will definitely not pirate now :)
  • The free month is a lie

    By mgpaco
    I still have ads
  • Too many ads

    By MAL-02
I watched 30 seconds of an episode and then an endless stream of Jurrasic World Lego Set ads. The ads were about 30 seconds long but kept replaying. There was no exit button to leave the episode or the ad.
  • I usually don’t mind ads, but this is ridiculous

    By .~Nightingale~
I get it, I’m not a premium member so I should have to watch ads. That’s fine, I don’t mind. You know what I do mind though? Watching 15-30 ads per episode. I will gladly watch 3 ads per ad section, but I’m hitting more like 7, sometimes more. I want to support you crunchyroll, I appreciate the quality of your content, but by the time the fifth ad comes around I’m ready to go to a different platform to continue watching because I can’t stand thinking of having to sit through more giant ad blocks. You don’t need 21+ ads in a 23 minute episode, there’s no excuse for that.
  • Good but options are limited

    By maximumumelody
The app overall is pretty decent my only real complaint is I wish there was more anime to choose from they have plenty of new anime but older ones are a hit or miss when it comes to anything older than 2012 I really hope they will add more especially in shoujo
