  • Best app for running, hiking and biking

    By Mom11011
This app is very well designed, easy to set up and customize. I loved the default motivational feedback during my run and have already added custom motivational coaching at intervals I know will help me push through hard my hard points. It also works seamlessly while running Pandora or my own music.
  • Works for me

I was surprised to read the other reviews on this. Since they are a little older I wonder if the new ios would solve the problems. I'm using it on an iphone 6 and it works great. I have another program that also measures my hikes ("Backtrack" - though I think it's discontinued). I ran both of these on the same hikes and compared measurements. MyMotion was more accurate. One quirk I noticed though is in settings, when I set it to walk it seems to shift back to run. I did set it to car and did a mile check on the freeway. Again it was quite accurate. Anyway, I'm sorry others had bad experiences.
  • Major Malfunction

App continues to run even when app is closed. It appears to be activated whenever GPS is turned on and speaks to you about non-sense. The only way to get rid of it is to delete the app and restart your phone.
  • My motion review

I just downloaded this app yesterday because I am riding my bicycle for the triathlon. So far it does everything I wanted. It calculates my distance while riding the bike as well as the speed & time. It has other features that I have not yet explored. I would definitely recommend. I would give it.
  • Will not operate as designed ...

    By "Thom"
The app has not been updated so it will NOT operate as designed with iOS 6.0. However, the company representative assured me that they trying to resolve the matter, but in the mean time, I have to use it as-is.
  • Bummed

Terrible app, annoyed because I paid $3 and it won't even open. I knew I should have gone with the Nike app!
  • Would be great if it worked!

    By user_unknown
Tons of functionality built into the app, but on 9 different walks/hikes, I have yet to have ONE consistently tracked map. It mysteriously has me walking at 68mph, and adding 1000 ft to my elevation changes. I've tried this in Metro Atlanta as well as out in the woods, and in all it's just not what I'm looking for. I'm not sure if it's the signal that's the problem or what, but it just doesn't track a route properly.
  • Worthless

Three walks and distance calculated at least double actual milage. Still looking for a good app. Will try another one. Map my run is a good app for walking as well as running. Thi app was a complete waste of money!!!
