  • Missing a few things

I was really excited about the app at first, but after using it a while I found some not so great things about the app. Why doesn’t it show Chipotle as a vegan friendly restaurant? Chipotle is by far the best vegan friendly fast food restaurant and I’m disappointed to not be able to look for them on this app. I believe it’s listed on the website version, but does not appear on the mobile. Also, why are you not allowed to search restaurants not just locations? Lastly, knowing my area, there are some vegan friendly places that are not being shown listed on here; makes me wonder how many restaurants could really be on here but are being slept on. I tried adding it on the “add restaurant” feature but it was a bit complicated and kept giving me error messages. So at least perhaps add a feature where you could add personal restaurants. I heard you’re working on making profiles, so maybe people can start making their own list of recommended websites.

Being vegan can be challenging when eating out but this app helps so much. Delighted to find even when I am visiting China it’s still offering suggestions. I guess it’s only as good as the people who use it so I must remember to keep adding and making reviews as we all should do. It’s what its all about helping each other along . I tell all my vegan and none vegan friends about this, times are changing and it’s amazing people who aren’t vegan will know someone who is so keep spreading the world about this app it’s such a brilliant app.
  • Happy Cow deserves your money

LOVE that this app won’t let you give a place 5 stars if they serve meat. This app is a MUST if you enjoy traveling and are a vegan/fencesitting vegetarian.

Was able to eat some vegan sushi and the waitress was very helpful with letting me know witch meals were vegan.
  • I don’t like cows.

Very useful app. But I don’t want to see a cow, or use a thing named after a cow. One of the main reasons I use this app is that I am thoroughly disgusted by cows and so need an app to make sure I never eat them. Also, initiating a search when you’re in the middle of nowhere, without options, is impossible. It’s not suited to road trips or living in a rural area. Which is ironic, given THE HORRIFIC THEMING.
  • It ain’t cheap.

$5 seemed steep for service provided
  • WV places needed

I bought this app. It came up with nothing nearby. I haven’t tried traveling with the app. I also heard we can add places to it if we find them. Hopefully, I’ll be able to add some places. Should we add vegan-friendly grocery stores or just restaurants ? I like what the app is set up to do and I don’t mind donating $4 to keep it going. I’ll update the Rating to a 3 because of what it can do. I’ll edit that when I see how it works in other places.

  • Worth every penny!

I’ve discovered so many vegan treasures and also managed to stay away from places that were highly rated on yelp but the vegan options didn’t taste good. So worth it, so helpful! Love love love!
