  • Just keeps crashing

I just downloaded this app within the last half hour. I have tried multiple times to input my to do list for different days of the week, however, all the app does is crash and doesn’t save what I input. Looks like others who have been more long term users have stated having the same issues recently with the apps updates. I’ll try again later, but won’t waste my time if the app crashes again. I’ll delete my account and move onto another to do list app.
  • REMINDER SOUND DOES NOT WORK

Here the way I did; 6 times so far Set Sound ON Click Reminder Sound >> Select the sound type then there is no thing to click for confirmation. Then went back to the Task, set time again, 5 minutes later alarm clicked and vibrated It does not sound no matter the Vibration is ON or OFF. Any suggestion you may have or please fix it ASAP
  • Can’t Find/Delete Tasks

I love the “any.do” app; however, it, continually, shows a “4” indicating that I have 4 tasks pending. I can’t find those tasks! Other than that, I love the basic features; think it’s robbery that we have to pay to get features like delegating...

I turned the notifications and sounds on, and it says they’re on, but I haven’t gotten a single notification. My tasks have passed and I realize it like hours later

This was my favorite to do list but it seems broken now! Whenever I go to add a new task, the app crashes :( It’s completely unusable now! I would love to continue to use this app because it has features no other to do list app offers. Please fix this!

  • Too many bugs, terrible tech support

Unfortunately I no longer use this app and will not be recommending it to my friends. I experienced the same bug multiple times. If I created a task and went into that task to add additional details, all features were not available and if I tried to use them, I was prompted to upgrade to the paid version of the app. This is an ad that swings up from the bottom of the screen when you touch a feature that isn’t available in the free version. However, even the features that were supposed to be available in the free version were not available and I was plagued with this ad to purchase your full version while not having access to the features in your free version at all. Not cool. Your help desk kept having me uninstall and reinstall the app. I corresponded with them over a several week period. I described the bug in great detail. Uninstalling and reinstalling was their only solution offered. I did that on three separate occasions and the app would work fine for a few days until the same bug would return. One even suggested it was my phone and not your app. Oddly enough my husband was using Any.do and experienced the exact same bug, though. Maybe it’s his phone too? Doubt it. I don’t believe it was my phone but I guess your customer service team doesn’t want to fix bugs, just blame the user. That’s called lazy customer service. The last time I uninstalled it and reinstalled your app, I lost all of my task lists when I logged back in. I had over fifty some odd items typed into Any.do. I reached out to customer service hoping there was maybe a way to access a back up, I again got no assistance. Since I had to recreate my whole task list I just switched to a different task list, Wunderlist, and have had no bugs or problems since. I can’t recommend your app because it’s purpose is to save me time while instead I was left dealing with the frustration of this apps bugs and trying to get help from customer service took up MORE time. Losing my task list completely was a huge waste of my time. I am so relieved I did not pay money for your full version!! Useless customer service and an app with too many bugs. There are plenty of other task list apps out there that work much better. Update: I received an email and review response from the tech support person at any.do, Tali. I found the response to be unhelpful and unproductive as it was mostly just explaining that they feel they did their job and I did not provide adequate description and the information they requested for them to resolve my issue. I feel the need to further explain since I don’t believe that is fair or accurate. Asking a customer for a video of the bug when it is happening after the customer has provided a detailed description of the bug several times isn’t helpful to the customer. At the time of the email I did not have the capability to take a screencast on my iPhone because I had not updated my IOS yet. It is not that I wouldn’t provide a screencast, I couldn’t. But that said, Customer Service never bothered to gather any other information about the situation such as what iphone I had, what iOS version, which app version I was running, etc. That is critical information that can help solve bug issues. Why did they never ask? Since I could not provide a screencast of the bug I was refused help at that point even though I had provided a detailed description of the bug. I was also told that no other customer had described a bug like that so that was how the representative drew the conclusion that it was likely my device causing the bug. At that point there was no additional help offered to me. In my opinion this is not effective tech support response in investigating a potential bug. They didn't even collect any info on my phone, iOS version, etc as most tech support people investigating a bug do. If I could move this rating to NO STARS, I would. I feel like instead of just saying sorry, and accepting constructive criticism to improve their customer service effort, Any.do support is now blaming me for their lack of technical assistance in resolving a bug! Ridiculous and unprofessional. They keep responding with long excuses and assigning blame to others instead of owning the issue and using this scenario as a learning experience for their customer service group. Don’t buy this app. If you can get the free version to work, kudos to you. But if you use the free version just know that you are not likely to receive good customer service if you have a problem. Update 2: The app developers keep updating their response saying I can still reach out to them but still have not taken any responsibility for the numerous times I tried working with them. I happily will use Wunderlist until it is cancelled, as it is a far superior task app and has all the features AND IT WORKS even though it’s not even supported.
  • Great and straightforward todo app

One of the best and straightforward todo apps I’ve found. My favorite part is you can set tomorrow’s todos. One criticism is that the todos titles can’t be very long bc there is only like a 7 word title length before the next words get truncated with a ... still my fave todo app
  • Only good things to say about this app but wanting more

Great job with the basic interface. I really like the fact that tasks are QUICK to add . Overview screen is simple and the task details ( fonts pop out prominently out of the background). It’s important to me since this allows mind to focus on the task details and filter out the background clutter when you take a quick view. Feature request: . I like the Dropbox integration but it would be great if a) we can launch Dropbox from within Any.do, while adding a task b) while doing so the Task heading gets copied in Dropbox as the file name c) use Dropbox’s document scan feature and scan documents and once complete, go back to Any.do.
