• The ePaper is a full replica edition including articles and pages as they appeared in print, including the Sunday Comics. • The ePaper is free for Boston Globe digital subscribers and many print subscribers. Simply sign-in using your account. • To connect your account, enter your Boston Globe account information on the Subscriber Login page. • One-month subscriptions are available for $14.99 per month. One-month subscriptions automatically renew at $14.99 per month until cancelled* • Read stories in the Page view or Article view. • Share articles via email and social media. • Recent back issues are available for download from the archive by tapping "More". *Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication. **Progressive download has been disabled for iPad 2 and iPad mini (1) and will be restored in a future update of the app. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

    I finally caved and got a Globe online subscriptions, and I’m horrified at how bad this app is. I feel as though I should only be able to access this app with a dial up modem. This doesn’t even deserve one star.
  • It is still a terrible app

    After so many years still has lots of glitches - pages freeze and shut down the app; all pages not able to expand and covert to text mode for larger font. Why can’t the Globe fix these issues ? It is like an amateur developed the app !
  • One star because it can't be graded zero stars

    I’ve had the app off an on for several years. It seems every other upgrade they ruin it. When there’s a problem there’s no support. It’s a crappy app and the most expensive newspaper app in the country. It’s twice as expensive as all the rest. Right now it either won’t load or I get an error “nothing to load” before it craps out. I finally cancelled for good. I received a condescending and insulting email from one of the customer services reps. She insisted there aren’t any problems with the app. I must be the problem. The only customer support I’ve ever received is to delete the app and download it again. I’ve done this more than one hundred times. If this customer service rep worked for me she woukd t be interfacing with customer. She would be locked in a cubicle making the app work. Unless the Globe does a complete overall of the app I won’t ever get it again unless it’s free. Then on the days it doesn’t work I can’t be upset about getting my monies worth. I can’t be upset with getting nothing if I paid nothing.

    Sure hope this app gets repaired Very Soon, or will be time to cancel my subscription as the constant crashing is highly annoying
  • Truly awful app

    Each day a battle to download and use. Why doesn’t the Globe fix it? Was this designed by John Henry’s grandson or some family friend? There must be a back story as to why it’s so badly done.
  • Audio function

    Why did the app regress and lose the audio function. I once found this function quite useful and I now miss it very much. It was a huge timesaver listening to articles while I was working out or other activities when I’m unable to look at my phone. Please restore this function and get the app’s progress at least going forward and not backwards.

    Cancelled my subscription about a year ago out of frustration with the app. Assumed I would re-subscribe after the app was straightened out. Still waiting. Update: make that two years ago now. What’s the holdup?
