  • Good & bad

Similarity to Uber, it is very frustrating that a trip cannot be edited. More frustrating than Uber is that to cancel to reset, I have to pay a $5 fee. This is absolutely absurd and will be the reason I discontinue my use of the app.
  • Not so good experience

    By Creative Scrambler
I had to get to work one morning and with me not having a car at the moment, I rely on friends, family & occasionally lyft. So I scheduled the ride an hour ahead so I can get ready without no worry. When my FIRST driver was 7 minutes away, he called me multiple times, speaking bad English saying “cancel the ride, I’m too far”, so I canceled and the fee was waived the one time. Requested a SECOND one, 7 mins away, texts me “cancel ride, too far”, so I did & it charged me. Then the THIRD ride I tried getting, got a text saying he was there, but he wasn’t and then gave me someone else who was even further away and had me wait even longer & me being late to work.
  • Saving money

I just started using lyft while I was in Las Vegas. It was so convenient and fast that I have even used them when I got home. I am even considering getting rid of my car, since I only use it once or twice a week. The money I saved by using lyft instead of renting a car or using a taxi allowed me to donate more to help Las Vegas keep the lights on.
  • Started hating this application

I will go back to Uber. It’s ridiculous that they are charging $5 cancellation fee even tho the driver was driving completely opposite direction or pushed the button that he’s in front of me and it was no car whatsoever.

  • Poor Customer Service

    By Clf8811
There is no way to really reach customer support other than their preset menu of choices and they will send you an email saying that they see nothing wrong. I have had the same this happen with Uber once and they did reach out to me for resolution. Uber’s customer service is far superior to Lyfts. Lyft is fine until you have an issue. Otherwise make sure you know the route so that you don’t get ripped off by a Lyft Driver because they will not resolve it for the customer. I took a Lyft out one night and it was down a straight street from beginning to end, 4 Miles and cost $14. On the way back I dozed off until arriving back. When I checked my charges the driver coming back Drive around the city make the route twice as long (8 miles$ and the charge $34! The driver should have taken the same way back as I know the area and how to get around very well. I attempted to dispute this multiple times as this was a very dishonest move and I feel robbed.
  • Fix the name in profile issues

    By CoreyJohnIams
Not being able to edit name on profile or set a name at all is unacceptable.
  • Wrong destination

    By Sam Windham
It auto chose our destination, which was wrong. Unacceptable. Charged us for a ride we never took because of it.
  • Awful

I had initially set my location as my pick up location. That did not work for some reason, so canceled my ride. Cut too.. on my way back home from the bars, the app lead the driver in a completely different location than where I set. I didn’t change a thing, showed the driver where I wanted to go initially, and finally made it after he set it himself, after $100+ of a ride. Not impressed. Initially, whatever, but then it got worse. Thanks Lyft.
  • Usually works fine, but need to...

Feature request: allow users to enter a pickup address instead of dragging on the map.
