  • Arrow keys, where did they go?

This used to be an awesome app. I played games remotely via my phone. I used the arrow key option...which no longer exists. I don’t mind paying, but, if this option doesn’t exist anymore, the app is no use to me. Thank you for your quick response! I am relieved and excited that this product continues to fill my needs!!

Pure form to disable a working purchased app so you can push/force folks to your subscription model. I had been using this product from the beginning. Newest version adds nothing but a rebuy is required.

I have had this issue with my Mac Pro for going on a year now. I worked with support and it’s still not working with the streamer app. **update to developer response** I have low confidence it will be fixed when your QA team isn’t checking Mac Pro on every release. This will be the 4th time I have contacted you in some way over this issue.

This is the only app I pay for - I buy the Anywhere access pack each year and it pays for itself in usefulness. My primary usage is to run Second Life on my desktop and access it from my iPhone X. I can do everything in SL from my phone and no one realizes I’m accessing on SL from a thousand miles away ;)
  • I just bought the subscription..

And it keeps crashing. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled.. restarted my phone... Why does it keep crashing? $16 just spent for an unusable app.

What can I not say good about this program!! I have a slow internet connection at home, but fast at the office. It worked great! I was able to check on my pc at home and restart my programs without any problems! Way worth the yearly fee to use the software!! Thanks!!
  • I'm switching back to Chrome Remote Desktop

Updated Review I am switching back to Google Remote Desktop. I do not have the money to be paying nearly $20 a year for something I rarely use in order to save my grade. Don't get me wrong, the app is still awesome. It does so much to help you access your computer. It's amazing. I can even play an FPS shooter through this app if I wanted, but it's like they are hiding the fact that you must pay them to use this app outside of their house, covering it with the "Get Anywhere Access Pack" thrown all the way to the bottom of their description. The real reason why I needed an app like this was so I can send office and college files off of my computer if I ever forgot to put them on an online cloud service. I need to be able to access my house computer without actually being at my house. This app doesn't do that, unless you pay them yearly. I couldn't send a biology report to myself in time because the app gave me this shocking subscription surprise. I missed the grade. As of my old review, I didn't know you had to be in the same Wi-Fi connection to be able to use Splashtop from afar. What's the point then? I could just walk over to my computer if I ever need to access it. I shouldn't need to be paying nearly 20 dollars yearly to keep an app that I use once or twice a month. As a college student, I need to save all the money I can. Google Remote Desktop may not have any of the nice extra features this app has, but it's free and reaches all the requirements. That's an app that I can depend on to reach my personal files. The app is nice, but not worth $17 a year for the amount of times I use it. If they want me to pay that, they should improve their interface and allow personalization options before I reconsider. The buttons are small, I should have a way to rearrange the extra buttons, and while this annoyance isn't important, I don't like the green old log in screen. This app should be updated to look and act more modern. Old Review I've been using Google remote desktop for a while and I decided I should move on since Google doesn't have a lot of options and Microsoft doesn't even let you use theirs. I'm glad I made that choice. Splashtop has made things so convenient and efficient for people who want to use it in different ways. Want to use your laptop like a touchpad? No prob! Want to play a game? Splashtop has a arrow key feature for remote gaming. Basically, its impressive and I can't wait to continue using my computer without being in my basement or carrying it to the bathroom. I can't come up with any negatives except that I dont like the color green. Good job!
