App Reviews

  • Not worth it

    By sdfo;ihsd
Overall it was a pretty good app with an simple interface but the fact that you only get push notifications for the subscription fee is ridiculous. I’ll switch back to Apple Reminders
  • Great app but needs more features

    By RobotXerxes
I would love it if we could create filter and label folders. For instance, I have a lot of school filters and labels, and it is a very long list, so organizing them based on category should be essential. I have filters for things I have not started yet, which requires a label not there (!@started) and lots of other things like questions for teachers and easy homework and critical things, it’s awesome. The filters are amazing. But I need to organize them more. Make a drag and drop quick add subtask feature like Things to do manager, it would make adding sub tasks to parents very easy. Thanks! If I had those features this would be 5 stars.
  • Needs synchronization support

    By jweinrich
Synchronization is inconsistent - I have lost my task list twice now. It is a solid app but this one hiccup keeps me from continuing premium subscription.
  • import from wunderlist does not preserve the tag

    By GeekyNobody
tag in wunderlist should be mapped into label
  • Love it overall, but...

There is a bug. I put phone numbers in comments if it’s a reminder to call someone. However, when I touch the phone number to place the call, the app crashes instead.
  • Falling short

    By gsquared007
This used to be a forward thinking app. But as others have mentioned the features lacking on the IOS version, tasks disappearing and sync issues it is looking like a mess especially compared to apps like Things which can link directly back to Apple mail messages even when forwarded via email, shows my calendar, can apply tags to projects, allows search ahead anywhere, and just works more smoothly for common tasks.
  • Needs Some Improvement

    By RobWSeattle
I am a heavy task user. I believe a lot of my success in my career was due to my utilizing task management systems. I was utilizing computer based task systems back in 1994. I love them. I’ve been through all the best in class task management apps. Most recently I used Wunderlist, but wanted to get ahead of the Microsoft mess, and jumped to Todoist. Overall Todoist is amazing. I’m doing things I just dreamed of with my old systems. Custom filters - incredible!! I’m a little frustrated with the iOS app though. Here are a couple items that need to be fixed: 1. The ability to duplicate tasks. A lot of my tasks are kind of repetitive in their setup. I know I can use the Mac app to do this. Why can’t I click duplicate task on iOS? This would be great for me. 2. Sorting. They really need to improve sorting. There really isn’t a good way to do it on iOS. I have a label called “priority”. I will only label a few things (up to 5) with this. I want to manually sort these in order of work priority. When I try, it just goes back to alphabetical. Also, I have a project with multiple recurring items by due date. There is no way to sort this by due date. It’s absolutely worthless to view this project on iOS - it’s such a mess because there is no sorting. Please do some work so there are multiple sort options on iOS.
  • An UNDO option is a MUST

    By OhWejo
Went to delete an empty Project that had 43 sub-projects listed and it deleted all! I thought I was deleting just the one (I clicked into the singular empty Project) and I deleted all 43. My premium ran out 3 days before (I was going to sign back up this week) and I had to sign up for premium immediately to have access to my back-up from three days before and had to import each single subtask. To make matters worse, every tasking which I had 'ev month, ev day,' etc. defaulted to today forcing me to go back through each and reset all the dates. This could have easily been avoided if there was an UNDO button! Or at the very least the opportunity to undo from the Activity Log. My life lives in To-Doist and the thought that one accidental deletion could wipe out hundreds of hours of work. This to me needs to be a priority for my continued support.
  • I like this app - a lot.

This to do list is well thought out, well designed, and integrates well with Alexa.
  • Could be great but inconsistent notifications!

Like a lot of people said there’s a serious syncing issues between devices. The PC app to the Chrome extension, to Mac, to mobile (Android and iOS) I can’t really trust them to remind me to do all tasks. When it works it’s great, but these inconsistencies cause too many headaches. Hopefully things are fixed before my subscription ends otherwise I may search for another solution.
