The app is good but I read fast and sometimes when I read a book it says I have to read longer and it’s annoying, and I hope that in later updates you can add books like Dork Diaries and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

  • Buggy now, but still good

NOTE: IF YOU ARE A TEACHER, this app is free. But in order to get it for free, you need to use a .edu email, or otherwise school-related email. I use Epic in my classroom all the time. It’s great for resources both in reading and when you want an educational video. In that way, it’s seriously great! What’s bothering me right now is that the last Read to Me book I’ve opened ALWAYS reads to me. When I sign in, it’s reading to me. When I’m browsing, it’s reading to me. When I’m updating my preferences, it’s reading to me. The words it’s reading pop up, too, but the book has been closed, the app has been killed and reopened—and still, it’s reading to me. Until I find the book, click on it, and close it, it’s always reading to me. The other thing I don’t like is that there’s no way to STAY signed in. I don’t want to sign in every single time I open the app! I have a horrible time remembering my passwords. And on top of that, I don’t want to sign in twice. Once to sign into the app, and once to sign into my teacher account. I wish there were a way in settings or preferences to tick “Keep me signed in”. This is especially annoying because the last Read to Me book is also reading this entire time. It’s distracting for my students, and it’s also a hassle to find the book, open it again, close it, and finally get to the book or video that I need in the moment. Fix these two things and I will happily rate this app five stars!
