  • Unsure about accuracy

    I don’t have an Apple Watch, but I follow the directions and sleep with the app on, phone face down, on my bed next to my pillow. I’m just not convinced this is very accurate at all. Last night I was obviously awake (middle of the night like 3:00am), and it tracked me as in REM sleep. I like the general tracking, but not sure how to improve accuracy (outside of buying an Apple Watch)

    I can no longer recommend this app to others looking for sleep tracking. Historically it seemed pretty accurate but since the most recent major update it doesn’t really track sleep well at all. I’ve contacted the developer several times but the app hasn’t improved at all. The jump to try and introduce some “AI” feature seems to have broken it and the sleep tracking results now seem pretty meaningless. Even training off the AI doesn’t return it to previous capability. Look elsewhere.

    I have had this app for about nine months now and until now I have had nothing to complain about. Then I did their update which changed the accuracy traumatically I watched three shows and the app thought I was sleeping two thirds of the time. Now sadly I have to change my five star rating to a sad two star rating

    For many months I have noticed this app has become useless. I asked for support without success. Some times, for example, it shows no record of REM sleep though I can remember dreams. Or it simply shows I was awake a large portion of the night, but I was not.

    I was a Fitbit user and just recently switched to wearing an Apple Watch. Though I enjoy the features of this device over the Fitbit, I really missed the sleep tracking reports in their app. The Pillow app is a very welcomed upgrade. Great job folks👍🏾.

    I just downloaded this last night and was very pleased with the results. I can now understand that, yes, I do “barely and lightly” snore, but mostly my rem and deep sleep. I’ve been told I talk in my sleep, but I guess it’s only sometimes, because it didn’t happen last night. 😀 So far I’m very pleased, and hope to be a good customer and my sleep continues to be settled. Now if I could only find out how to turn the relaxing music! Thank you!

    One night it works, the next doesn’t, which I have to spend countless precious time figuring out why it keeps telling me to enable Bluetooth on both devices when both ARE ENABLED!!?!!!!!!!!!?!!!?!!! I would give this Pillow App NEGATIVE STARS if it allowed me to. Delete it is what I should do. Instead, I’ll patiently waste yet another night for the Developer to let me know when they’ve repaired this glitch so I can get a solid week of tracking my sleep patterns. Too flippin’ angry now to sleep at all!
