I think this app is great! But the amount of time you get before you lose a chance to get a smiley face... is kinda too fast for some kids. My child likes that. But I think you should be able to choose ( as a parent or teacher ) how much time you get. Because some kids get anxiety. But my kid finds it challenging and she likes that. Great app

This is one of the most destructive programs for math I have ever seen. As a retired teacher and math teacher of grades K-2 I was horrified to watch my granddaughter completely fall apart using this app. And she is s good student. If you want to destroy children keep making them use this pressure ridden torture with first grade students.

We love this simple straight-forward approach to math facts! I have a kindergartner, 1st grader, 4th grader, and 5th grader. They logon everyday for about 7-10 minutes for practice. As soon as they master one level, they move to the next. I can easily login and see if they have done their work and monitor their progress. My kids like that they can get on the app and get it done quickly. Now that we have been actively using the app for a month I’m seeing their school work improve and their simple mistakes decrease. I can’t believe the app was only $5. I wish they had an one for sight words!

I went to a school that used XtraMath very highly and I hated it. No kids liked it and everyone had anxiety stress and cried so much over it because it was so bad for their little minds. And I don’t think it was the teachers fault that extra math wanted to very reward the people that got through each learning block. Teaching kids bad phrases like you know you want to be faster learner. You don’t have to know these all you have to do is memorize them. It was so hard to get through that five years of doing it. Now I am in fourth grade and they stop using it and used a very amazingProgram iready. It was so much better than what I had been introduced to and I would really recommend it. It’s not an app you have to do it online through a-portal.But saying this this is 100% better than XtraMath so do I ready and avoid extra math. Or your children are going to have a fit of anxiety.
