Meal Planner Pal App Description

Meal Planner Pal is a simple, easy to use, customizable meal planning tool. Creating a meal plan is hassle free and only takes a few minutes. You can stick to the basics, or add additional information such as number of calories in each meal and the number of portions of fruit and vegetables. This will then be summarised per day. There is a grocery basket which allows you to create a list of groceries alongside your meal plan - making your food shopping easier and faster. When grocery shopping, you can strikethrough groceries so it is easy to see what is left to buy. You can also email your meal plan and grocery list so you can print it off or share with others. There are also a number of extra features, such as: - The ability to set the number of days in a plan (as opposed to the standard seven days) - The ability to create your own meal library so creating future meal plans becomes quicker and easier -The ability to set reminders/alerts directly from the app e.g. to remember to defrost food or to remind you what you have planned to eat. - The ability to calculate the cost of your groceries What real users are saying about Meal Planner Pal: "This app is easy to use and really helps me stay on top of meal planning." "This app is so simple, which is what is so great about it. Easy to use and does exactly what it's supposed to." "This is exactly what I needed to plan weekly! It's easy to use and give you the chance to create a shopping list as you go. It also allows you to email it which is great!"

Like, literally. You can’t do anything with this app without it crashing.
  • I love this app!

I’ve been searching high and low for an app like this and finally found it. As someone who likes to track what I eat, for health as well as budget reasons, this app is perfect. I just couldn’t stand apps that have you enter specific ingredients and portions to count calories, and as someone who’s been counting calories for many years, I’m much more comfortable writing out what I’ve eaten in words, and giving it a reasonable calorie estimate. This prevents the obsessive, tedious nature of other calorie counting apps. It also allows me to plan my meals for the week, saving me lots of money on groceries. This app is so great!

Paid for it but never upgraded
  • Does not work consistently

I got excited when I entered two menu plans 1 for me and one for my husband. (Don’t differ at dinner.) I successfully entered the first week for the two of us. THEN I tried to enter week 2. I eventually added a new plan, but could not get past breakfast, next meal just froze. I tried every trick in the book to get my 7plus updated IPhone to work to no avail. I will not purchase the pro version when the free does not work. I tried to send feedback but the app sent me to Tumbler. Sorry developer, not all of us use multiple platforms, especially lots of us who are old enough to purchase pro versions for our own convenience.
  • Good App

It could be great. I really like being able to add to my grocery list while I’m planning a meal. I wish there was a better way to organize the meal library. I love the feature, but I’d like to be able to have it listed alphabetically and possible be able to search just lunch, dinner, etc. it’s handy, just not as organized as I’d like it to be.
  • Waste of money

Now I remember why I don’t upgrade or pay for apps. I upgraded and the app just crashes when you try and use the upgraded options. You click and the app literally closes. I am super irritated and deleted the whole thing. It was on my phone a grand total of 5 minutes.

It crashes constantly and is nearly useless.
  • A simple way to feel organized!

A goal for our family is to have healthy meals. With our extra curricular activities, we often get home late. Having the ability to plan meals and share lists is so helpful!
  • Upgrade required for options

I do not pay for apps. Upon quick exploration of the app, most options seemed to require the paid pro version. Not worth downloading if you are looking for a free option.
