Sweatcoin - Coin For Sweat App App Description

The AppStore №1 and top-rated for your Apple Watch, Sweatcoin app converts your outdoor steps into gadgets, sports and fitness kit, services and experiences. 5 Stars ► “Such a great concept and executed excellently. Gets me walking and rewards me for it too!” by Woo123789 “Basically pays you to move and exercise, and it costs nothing to use.” - Men’s Journal “The easiest way to make some side cash by doing what you already do naturally — walking.” - TheNextWeb “New UK health app Sweatcoin launched in the Apple app store this week and has been an instant hit.” - Forbes “New Apple app launches in Britain that pays people to get fit” - Reuters “The app that PAYS you to get fit: Sweatcoin rewards people for the number of steps they make every day” - Daily Mail “If ever you’ve needed an incentive to exercise, a new app could give you a much-needed boost to get active.” - Telegraph Sweatcoin converts your steps into currency units called, as you might have guessed it, sweatcoins. You can then spend them on goods, services and experiences on our market place with our partners or exchange them with your friends and family for whatever you fancy. The fitter and healthier you become the wealthier you get. Movement has value! And remember that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Sweatcoin uses your HealthKit step history data to continuously improve our algorithms and provide you with better offers at the right time.

  • SCAM

This app is a total rip off. Do the math, at 5 coins a day it’ll take you years to get anything. It’s not “rewarding you” for working out. It’s ripping you off people. I bet they’re making a killing.

The daily bonus is pretty cool but I think there should be more choices of spending these ‘sweatcoins’. The instagram shout outs I keep seeing are photoshopped apparently.
  • Scam!

So I can max out at 5 sweatcoins a day. But for 20,000 sweat coins I can get $1000 paypal money. So no matter how much I do or don’t do, 5 sweat coins. 11 years from now I am eligible for the $1000. If it’s still available. 765 days for a $50 gift card. Sounds like a scam to attract attention. What a horrible waste of time setting up my account. DELETED!
  • Works but still a scam

It’s a very cool concept but it’s a total rip off in practice. You can only earn 5 coin things a day unless you want to pay for the app (which is not happening). The items that are cool are around 20,000 coin things and up and by the time you reach that (at MAX 5 coins/day) they item will be “sold out”. SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM. The other items are (you guessed it) ALSO A SCAM. There’s 5 useless items that are accessible to a free user (everyone, because WHO is paying for this app?). Those items are items you still have to pay for. You’re either getting a month-months free of a subscription service or $5 off on a site where everything is at least $15. So these “prizes” are products I don’t care about or wouldn’t ordinarily buy and are not known to the public and don’t have reviews - and I STILL have to pay for them. This app is an amazing idea but unfortunately, yes, issa scam.
  • Not terrible but not great for one person. Probably good for a big family that can pool points.

You walk, you get “sweatcoins”. I work outside all day. 95% of my steps are outside. In what seems a best case scenario you will only get credit for 65% of your steps. On top of that the dev charges 5% of that as a fee so you have to walk a lot more then say 10000 steps to get credit for 10000 steps. Kind of miss leading. I like what this app is trying to do but I feel it falls short. The products that interest me are crazy expensive. I am on the second tier allows me to earn 10 sweatcoins a day and a max of 300 a month. There are tiers that allow more. Up to 600 right now I believe. The dev also offers a daily reward which so far has granted me 1 sweatcoin which is nice. So in one year I could earn around 3965 sweat coins. That could get me a $50 PayPal credit but that’s about it. Prob good for a big family that can pool points but some items say you can’t use transferred points. $50 a year is $50 a year so there’s that.
  • Don’t buy stuff from them

I spent a good thirty minutes walking my dog a few days ago and you know I get steps at school and obviously you can get steps with the app closed bc I had four thousand yesterday by just walking around my school. Anyway too the point I had enough money to buy this thing for dogs bc my dog needs some new like collars and stuff bc he is getting old and I want him to have nice stuff before he is gone for good (😭), so I bought one of the Neptune co things from them copied the code and went to the website. I read the thing that said it wouldn’t take off all the money but you’d just practically have to pay shipping. It said It was supposed to take $10 dollars off a $12 collar, when I went to pay for it what did it say, it said -$5.00 when I put in the coupon, this is not the only time this has happened to me, I’ve bought everything multiple things and it hasn’t given me the amount off it said so this was kinda the last straw so don’t buy things from them unless it’s like the stupid iPhoneX or the plane tickets idk if those are legit bc I don’t have 20k but I’m sure there Jank to you probably have to pay for shipping and handling and any other hidden fees anyone including the app puts on them to make their money! Have a good day!

  • Worst Part

worst part about this app is when you “kill” the app, it doesnt save your steps. Although the first time i did kill the app it saved my steps and gave me a warning to not do it. so im not sure why it doesnt save the other times. i think thats a horrible way to run an app. Please fix this i had my first 1,800 or so steps and it all went to waste cause i accidentally killed it again. This app is capable of saving steps so it should save it the other times.

I adore this app, truly but I’m walking around non stop to the point I meet the quota extremely quickly and then the app is no longer fun the incentive to keep walking is gone especially because the number is far too easy to meet all one has to do is get a daily coin or send and invite and the points come roll. You’d make far more if you allowed us to keep going. This would be an for more famous app.
