  • DO NOT PURCHASE ANY THING FROM THEM

I cannot believe these people, they tell you to sign up and purchase their products through Linkedin learning, you do that, once you are done and wnat to log into their app or account they tell you you dont have accout. You search the internet for how to sign up for Lynda and they tell you that the only way possible to do that is through linked in which what you exactly just did but you still not able to log in because the account is created at Linked in learning and there is no possible way to create an account on their site. I just lost 50 USD for no reasons. I am so frustrated at the moment.

Lot of negative reviews…Honestly, I just use this to watch the videos. If that’s what you want to do, then this app is great for that. Its interface is extremely minimalistic and clean looking. I’ve never had a bug. So…yea. I am a fan of this app.

  • Disappointing

This is genuinely a disappointing app. It installs and fine and appears to work as intended but installed apps typically have more features than the web not less. There doesn’t appear to be a reason why the transcript can’t be downloaded used off-line. All of us can read faster than we can watch the video and the transcript allows me to quickly find areas of interest and follow along w/out having to disturb those close to me or use headphones. I consume the transcript as much as the videos as such the app is a real disappointment.
  • Abysmal UX

All I get is a window that says “You don’t have any downloaded courses yet.” … now what!?
  • Piece of Garbage — Broken on OS 10.9

This application simply doesn’t work. Almost always simply crashes on launch. Occasionally will launch, but then crash while trying to download a course. Am running OS 10.9, which is supposed to be supported. Fix this!!!
  • Should at least support standard subscribers for watching while online

At the very least, it should at least support a nicely streamlined App to watch their videos for the normal (non-premium subscriber, just plain paid-subscriber) user. Yes there website is there and works, but an App, as long as they’re going to bother to make one, would and could certainly be nicely streamlined and make the experience easier, cleaner, more straightforward (with our playlists and so on) and many other things. Again yes, the website works for this. But an App would be better for many usages - especially since they went to the bother of making an App. I see how watching offline videos would be nice for premium members, yet again I must say that for standard paid subscribers — why not just add us into the mix and let us use this app as well to view online-only-when-connected videos/courses? Maybe it’s just me, but I think it would be handy to be able to use this app as a standard-paid-subscriber. If I could afford a premium membership, I’d probably go and get one. But I still pay, and shouldn’t be shut out of the mix just for the pure sake of it.
